A Friendly Wave<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Waving is a classic way to say hello or goodbye without\nmaking physical contact. It\u2019s a great way to greet someone whether they\u2019re six\nfeet apart from you or behind a plastic sneeze guard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.) Bowing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Different people and situations in your life require different\ntypes of greetings. Namaste<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The namaste is a traditional salutation from Southeast Asia.\n&nbsp;To show gratitude and respect, press\nyour palms together in front of your heart and give a slight bow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.) Footshaking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of shaking someone\u2019s hand, try shaking their feet!\nThis fun way to say hello or goodbye involves both people standing on one foot\nand tapping their raised feet together. Just be sure to keep your balance!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6.) Shaka<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For a more laid-back greeting, try the shaka. This island\ngesture is popular among surfers, beachgoers, and taxicab drivers. It\u2019s made by\nmaking a fist while keeping the pinky finger and thumb extended. Sometimes it\u2019s\naccompanied by the phrase \u201cHang loose!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7.) Blow a Kiss<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you typically greet those close to you with a kiss on the\ncheek? To prevent the spread of germs, try blowing them a kiss instead.
